FIRE EXCHANGE IN AFGHANISTAN DeLonge discusses how 'Mad Dog' Mattis saved Lue's Life On January 15, 2018, I had a honor to interview Luis Elizondo – former point main of the Pentagon’s UFO program AATIP - Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program. It was the first extended 60-min interview with Lue that I did back then for the Croatian Public Television. I subsequently released uncut form of that interview on February 8, 2018, over YouTube.
Lue discussed with me the history of UFO investigations under AATIP. During the interview he also talked about General James Mattis, who served as the 26th US Secretary of Defense from January 2017 to January 2019. Lue stated the following from the 05:15 minute mark.

TALKING WITH WILSON The Davis/Wilson notes (aka the Wilson Leak) still continue to cause high controversy across the UFO field. Researches on different podcast shows are discussing and debating the topic from a variety of different corners, theories and interpretations. During a recent review of the affair, I noticed the new lead and invested some resources to follow it. However, that lead turned out to be just an ordinary dead end. I still produced some research material while working on it, and I thought it would be useful to share it. So, this unbiased piece should serve just as a historical record of the affair. I collected recollections from 3 colleagues how their telephone discussions went with retired Vice Admiral Thomas R. Wilson. I think it will be fascinating – or at least interesting – to get an insight into these engagements.
538 Science Writer on the UAP Task Force: “I think it’s important…” Thanks to Candice Powers for this lead. Host John Dankosky interviewed Maggie Koerth on July 31, 2020 for the syndicated radio show Science Friday. The show is distributed by the WNYC Studios, and airs over NPR too. Maggie is a senior science writer for the website FiveThirtyEight, which accumulates and analyzes polling and political data. Writers at FiveThirtyEight also cover sports, science, economics and popular culture. On the show Maggie presented a weekly breakdown of prominent science news. At one point Dankosky asked her about the recent New York Times article which covered the UAP Task Force. Maggie analyzed latest developments emphasizing it is important, valuable and useful to have such an office.
