The Wilson Leak and the NIDS Connection

Prologue
In April 1997, Rear Admiral Thomas Ray Wilson met with Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell, Commander Willard Miller (ret.) and activist Steven Greer in the Pentagon. The topic of the meeting: hidden UFO programs. Wilson supposedly later located UFO SAP (Special Access Program), but the contractor and higher Pentagon authorities denied him full access that he believed his position warranted. Related "The Wilson/Davis Leak” represents a 15-page document of the alleged 2002 notes from the Las Vegas meeting between Dr. Eric W. Davis and Thomas R. Wilson. Notes were allegedly written by Dr. Davis after the fact. Discussed topic: details of Wilson's 1997 search for the hidden UFO SAP. The document leaked back in April 2019 over the image sharing platform Imgur. Dr. Davis has issued "no comment" statement regarding the leak, while Admiral Wilson is denying that 2002 meeting ever happened.

I detected following segment on June 19, 2020. Investigative Las Vegas reporter George Knapp gave public statement on the Wilson Leak during the Mystery Wire podcast. Relevant transcript is below.

GEORGE KNAPP: I’ll just tell you this. I think that this-- I am fairly certain that this is an accurate representation of a meeting that really did happen. It was typed up not to distribute it to the public, but to share with the very tight group of professionals and the NIDS Science Advisory Board. Among them was Dr. Edgar Mitchell. It looks like Dr. Edgar Mitchell after he died, his personal papers got in the hands of members of his family, and then dribbled out to the UFO community, and I think is where this came from. This meeting happened. Admiral Wilson denies it. I think he’ll always deny it. Dr. Eric Davis is not somebody who makes this stuff up. He certainly doesn’t make it up and then hand it to his boss Bob Bigelow in the Science Advisory Board made up by the whole clout. You may not believe that the contents of what is discussed in this meeting is true, and we have no way to verify if all this is true or not. But did the meeting take place? Yes, it did and this memo is an accurate reflection of what happened.

George Knapp has went a step further providing an extended statement on the record to Joe Murgia for his blog piece. The piece in question is titlted: "Knapp: Wilson/Davis Is Not A Hoax. It Was Written By Dr. Eric Davis And Shared With Scientists And Former DoD Personnel And Contractors".

At one point Knapp states this.

GEORGE KNAPP: My understanding is that Dr. Davis compiled the notes and the memo was shared with a small number of Eric’s trusted colleagues, including two or more members of the NIDS Science Advisory Board, a distinguished group of scientists and former DOD personnel and contractors.

Additional context from that statement could be found in another audio piece. Back in February 2020, I shared with a few close colleagues audio piece I discovered in my archives. In the Coast to Coast interview from April 24, 2004, NIDS scientist Colm Kelleher told Art Bell that NIDS got information over the “last several years” based on whispered conversations that “certainly pieces of technology have been recovered”. Coast to Coast interview happened 2 years after the alleged Davis' meeting with Wilson, and probability exists that EWD notes were in close circulation within the NIDS board by that time (as alluded by Knapp too in his latest statement). Of course this is just a circumstantial guess but could serve as a companion piece to the latest Knapp’s statement.
